Role: Scrum Master

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Project Manager with a strong foundation in Agile methodologies, particularly as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. This role requires a proactive leader who can facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project delivery from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.
• Act as a Certified Scrum Master, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share feedback and implement best practices.
• Ensure effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular updates on project status.
• Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage resources, and report on key performance indicators.
• Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
• Mentor and coach team members on Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to enhance team performance.

Mandatory Skills:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a deal breaker.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
• Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
• Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.
