Overview The Registered Nurse delivers patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes. This role involves direct and individualized care based on scientific nursing principles and encompasses a broad spectrum of medical conditions. The RN must address a variety of health concerns and maintain professional standards as outlined by the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Additionally, the RN is expected to participate in committee involvement, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives. Note: While this role is listed under Med/Tele, the job summary includes expectations for Emergency Department (ED) nurses.
