Dental Assistant Position
Journey Smiles Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry

 

We are a new, family centered practice dedicated to creating healthy, confident smiles in a warm & welcoming environment. We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable, & responsible  Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to become an early team member and play a key role in helping establish clinical workflows, organization systems, and the overall culture of the practice as we grow.

We are a combined pediatric and orthodontic office offering cross-training for candidates who are eager to expand their skills.

What we're Looking for:

• Dependable and punctual
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Open to cross-training in orthodontics
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Chairside assisting for pediatric dental procedures
• Instrument sterilization & operator setup
• Digital radiographs
• Supporting efficient patient flow
• Answer phones with professionalism & warmth
• Schedule & confirm patient appointments
• Participate in marketing & community outreach efforts
• Assisting with orthodontic procedures (training provided)
• Help grow the practice through excellent patient service & engagement
