Job Title: SDET (Java + Selenium + AWS)

Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: W2 Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation testing, backend validation, and cloud-based environments , with a focus on building scalable and reliable test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium
• Build and execute automated test scripts for web applications and APIs
• Perform API testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman
• Validate data using SQL queries and ensure data integrity across systems
• Work with AWS cloud services to support testing in cloud-based environments
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into build processes
• Identify, document, and track defects; perform root cause analysis
• Ensure test coverage, performance, and scalability of applications
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices

Required Skills: Strong experience in Java programming Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver Experience with API testing (REST APIs, JSON, Postman, REST Assured) Solid knowledge of SQL for backend/data validation Experience working with AWS cloud services Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) Understanding of test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven) Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills
