Solution IT Inc. is looking for a React Native Developer for one of its clients Chicago, IL / Hybrid

Job Title: React Native Developer

Responsibilities

• Building and shipping features across iOS and Android from a single TypeScript codebase
• Camera-based workflows: video scanning, barcode capture, photo analysis
• Offline-first architecture with local caching (AsyncStorage) and background sync
• Integrating with REST APIs (BFF pattern) and third-party SDKs (Auth0, Anthropic, Brady printers)
• Native build pipelines: Expo prebuild, Xcode archives, EAS Build, CocoaPods

Required Skills

• 4+ years React Native / Expo experience shipping to both iOS and Android
• Comfort with Xcode (signing, archiving, troubleshooting build errors) and Android Studio TypeScript proficiency
• Experience with TanStack React Query or similar server-state libraries Familiarity with camera/media APIs in React Native
• Practical experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as part of your daily development workflow - not just prompting, but effectively directing agents through
• Multi-step implementation tasks, reviewing generated code, and iterating efficiently

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI/ML API integration (vision models, on-device ML)
• Expo native modules (Swift/Kotlin bridging)
• BLE device communication
• Auth0 or similar OAuth2 flows in mobile apps

Work Site : Chicago, IL / Hybrid (3-4 days/week onsite MUST)

Duration: Long-term

Expected Start Date : Immediate
