Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / AP & AR Specialist to support daily accounting operations in a high-volume environment. This role works closely with the Controller and accounting team and requires accuracy, accountability, and familiarity with modern dealership accounting systems.

Key Accounting Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

Enter and post vendor invoices and purchase orders within Tekion
Reconcile parts and vendor statements and research discrepancies
Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
Review, submit, and track advertising and marketing invoices

Accounts Receivable

Post customer and third-party payments and complete daily deposit entries
Prepare and distribute monthly accounts receivable statements
Reconcile AR balances and resolve posting variances

Vehicle & Inventory Accounting

Record dealer trades, vehicle purchases, and new vehicle inventory transactions
Process wholesale vehicle deals and ensure accurate accounting entries
Maintain proper documentation for vehicle-related transactions
Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies

Miscellaneous or additional tasks as needed, in accordance with the department's needs.

Qualifications

1–3 years of accounting, AP/AR, or dealership accounting experience preferred
Experience with automobile DMS strongly preferred
Working knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger processes
Strong Excel skills and close attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of discretion and professionalism

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $21–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Full-time, Monday–Friday
