Position Overview
We are seeking a talented  Web and Digital Interface Designer II to design and develop intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. This role focuses on creating responsive web interfaces, enhancing user experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in UI/UX design and front-end development, with the ability to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging, functional designs. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop responsive websites, web applications, and digital interfaces
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
  • Apply UX principles to ensure intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine requirements
  • Implement front-end designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and scalability
  • Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design improvements
  • Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508, WCAG)
  • Support integration of web interfaces with backend systems and APIs
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web design, UI/UX design, or front-end development
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles
  • Familiarity with usability testing, prototyping, and user research methods
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG)
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Agile or DevSecOps environments
  • Familiarity with government or DoD digital standards
  • Experience with design systems and component-based UI development
