Job Title : Technical Advisor
Job Type : Full-time
Location : Washington, DC Area
Work Schedule : Monday–Friday, regular business hours

Position Summary
Technical Advisor is needed to provide professional support, guidance, coordination, and program assistance for a federal project. The role requires strong communication, organization, and analytical skills to support successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advisory support for transition effort.
  • Develop process guides, reports, manuals, and program recommendations.
  • Support communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Advise on emergency food assistance operations and prepositioned commodities.
  • Assist with risk management, monitoring, accountability, and oversight planning.
  • Support geography and commodity prioritization analysis.
  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly activity reports.
  • Participate in monthly coordination meetings with personnel.
  • Support staff training and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Coordinate with personnel regarding technical issues, priorities, and implementation activities.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and submitted on schedule.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Public Administration, International Relations, Agriculture, Business, Logistics, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience supporting federal programs, international development, humanitarian assistance, food assistance, or agricultural programs.
  • Strong analytical, communication, technical writing, and organizational skills.
  • Experience preparing reports, guides, manuals, or program documentation.
  • Knowledge of program management, risk management, stakeholder coordination, and operational planning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Government personnel and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration platforms.
