We seek a Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for our MedSurg unit .   As an LPN or RN at TRMC, you will be responsible for caring for assigned patients and directing others involved in patient care. You will focus on adult and geriatric patients, utilizing a patient-centered approach to deliver comprehensive nursing care. This role demands cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when working with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients based on assessed needs.
• Demonstrate a patient-centered approach using the six steps of the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reevaluation).
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols in all nursing activities.
• Assist in the day-to-day operations
• Strive to provide remarkable service, promoting customer service initiatives to patients, visitors, and physicians.

Position Requirements:

• Current Alabama RN or LPN License required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire (TRMC will assist with obtaining this if needed).
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments.
• A professional, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills is essential.
• One to three years' experience  preferred but not required.
