Receptionist (Weekends Only) - Studebaker Healthcare Center

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our administration team at Studebaker Healthcare Center. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing phone calls, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors. This is a part-time position, requiring availability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, 3pm-8pm) and occasional weekday evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families, visitors, volunteers, auxiliary, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Manage phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel
• Monitor the lobby entrance and ensure COVID screening is completed
• Complete general office responsibilities, including data entry and filing
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures
• Work closely with the administration team to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Requirements

• Weekends only, must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays, 3pm-8pm) and occasional weekday evenings
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous receptionist experience desirable
• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge and awareness of the care needs of the elderly and/or chronically ill
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

• Must be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
• Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 4 feet
