Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled aluminum and stainless MIG and TIG production welders to join our team. The ideal candidates will excel in metal finishing and will have opportunities to work in the finished product area for select customers. Willingness to train in other areas of the shop, including operating various machines, is required. Experience with welding both thin and thick materials, setting up welding machines, and reading blueprints for fit-up is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform aluminum and stainless steel MIG and TIG welding tasks.
  • Work with both thin and thick materials.
  • Set up and calibrate welding machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate welding and fit-up.
  • Engage in metal finishing and grinding as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in cross-training within the shop.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, especially with 3/16th and 11-18 gauge materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and symbols.
  • Experience with welding procedures and standards.
  • Capability to work with carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in TIG welding is a plus.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and fit-up processes.
  • Experience in metal fabrication and pipe welding.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a spacious 72,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled manufacturing facility equipped with new Lincoln Welding machines. The facility is well-organized, providing an optimal setting for productive and efficient work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.45/hr.
