Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools to ensure high-quality welds.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assist in the fabrication of metal components and assemblies as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MIG/TIG welder, preferably in a fabrication setting.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in welding.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
