Yes& is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role will help to run the daily functions of the Human Resources department. This role will focus on maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel records, onboarding/offboarding team members, coordinating recruitment efforts, and running the Yes& internship program.
This is an excellent role for someone who is administratively focused, highly organized, and self-motivated. While Human Resources experience is preferred, applicants experienced in administrative skills will also be considered.This role is primarily remote, but this team member must have the ability to have a presence in our Alexandria, VA office on an as-needed basis.
What You Will Do
Assist with candidate pre-screening and reference checks
Assemble orientation materials and schedules for new employees
Host onboarding meetings and check-ins with new employees
Monitor and maintain records of internal training programs
Coordinate, staff, and facilitate the programming for Yes&’s Internships
Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, and tax information
Process employment applications and assist in recording new hire documentation
Assist in the management of monthly performance review cycles
Additional administrative assistance as needed or requested.
Experience You Need
Bachelor’s degree required
1-2 years of human resources experience, or equivalent administrative experience
Possess a strong sense of professionalism and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to keep departmental information confidential
Knowledge and understanding of HRIS platforms and their function
Very strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects
Proficient in Microsoft O365 Suite, and ideally a generally tech savvy person
