About Us
The Butcher’s Daughter is a multi-location, vegetable-forward restaurant, all day cafe and lifestyle brand rooted in seasonal food, natural wine, and thoughtful design. Only the Wild Ones is our hi-fi, low intervention concept location in each market.

With locations in New York and California—and expansion underway in Texas—we are entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Director of Marketing to help lead the brand forward.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Marketing to oversee and lead all marketing efforts across The Butcher’s Daughter. This is a senior leadership role responsible for brand strategy, campaign execution, and team leadership across multiple markets.

This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on driving revenue, guest engagement, and long-term brand growth. This role is a leadership role, overseeing 1-2 other creatives. 

This person can be located anywhere in the US, but is ideally located in NY or Austin. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall marketing strategy across all locations and concepts
  • Oversee brand voice, visual identity, and consistency across all channels
  • Develop and execute campaigns across digital, social, email, PR, and in-store activations
  • Manage and mentor the internal marketing team and external partners
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts including paid media, SEO, CRM, and analytics
  • Partner with operations and culinary teams on menu launches, programming, and seasonal initiatives
  • Drive marketing strategy for new openings and expansion markets (including Austin)
  • Identify and execute partnerships, collaborations, and community engagement opportunities
  • Track performance and adjust strategies to meet revenue and growth goals

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with leadership responsibilities
  • Experience in a similar role with hospitality brands or restaurants is mandatory 
  • Proven ability to lead multi-channel marketing strategies
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and performance metrics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • $145,000 – $175,000 salary (based on experience)
