Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-speed Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Houston. This role focuses on manual key data entry, document verification, and quality control of digital and hardcopy records. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of automated data extraction and maintaining fiscal control over check processing. Location: John F Kennedy Blvd, Houston, TX 77032 Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Note: Shift will transition to 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM at a later date; flexibility is required.) Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with personal computers and 10-key numeric entry.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Attributes: Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a positive attitude in a team environment.
  • Testing: Typing + 10-key by touch required for submission

Responsibilities

  • High-Speed Data Entry: Perform manual keying at a rate of 15,000 keystrokes per hour with high accuracy.
  • Data Validation: Analyze and correct automated document classifications, data extractions, and redactions that fall below confidence thresholds.
  • Financial Processing: Review digital checks for valid signatures, dates, and payees; reconcile check batch totals and research account distributions.
  • Quality Control: Compare hardcopy documents against digital versions to ensure conversion quality meets client standards.
  • Reporting: Complete all necessary paperwork and productivity logs in a timely, legible manner.
