CNC Machine Operator

A growing, small manufacturing company on the east side of Indianapolis is seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating vertical machining centers and/or single chuck lathes to produce high-quality precision parts.  Must have a resume with 2 years of relevant experience for in person interview.

CNC Machine Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Setup Machine with work and tool offsets. 
• Understanding of different types of machining tool geometries and coatings
• Dimensions & Tolerances - Quality check parts with precision measuring tools like calipers, micro-meters & gauges. 
• Perform functional checks and preventative maintenance as per machine requirements. 
• Understanding of CNC Programming Languages like G-code & Hurco Conversational.
• Occasionally operate other machines like Dill Press, Band Saw, Bridgeport Mill, Horizontal Broach etc.

CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience or Recent Completion of Training Program/Degree 
• Strong Communications & Teamworking Skills 
• CNC Machine Setup, Operation, Live Tooling, Probing experience. 
• Proficient with Shop Math. 
• Excellent Attendance
• Must Pass Drug Test and Criminal Background Check
• High School Diploma or GED
