This NP position is a part of the General Cardiology Section and the successful candidate will be covering general Cardiology duties expected of a NP functioning at the top of her/his license. Duties will include seeing general Cardiology patients with some additional focus on seeing/following Veterans that need evaluation and treatment of CAD including pre/post coronary procedural care. Care will be provided in various clinical settings including - Cardiology Clinics, Cardiology Consult Service (out-patient as well as in-patient areas when needed), Emergency Department and within community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) under the catchment of Minneapolis VA Health Care System. Care will be required using varied modalities, including telehealth/televideo, phone and face to face. Depending on Divisional needs, there might be an occasional need to participate and share duties within our outreach efforts.
